Some of the best times with when my kids were growing up came unexpectedly and made absolutely no sense.
I remember one time when we were on vacation in South Dakota and the car caught on fire. I mean there was a fire in the engine.
It wasn’t funny, but we laughed out loud (mostly because we didn’t know what else to do).
Since then, the fire in South Dakota is one of the funny stories that became part of the “crazy things that happen”.
I know it doesn’t make ANY sense, but moments like the car fire turned out to be great moments…and we have hundreds of moments like that were crazy things happened.
What crazy things did you have that happened as a child, or with friends/family that “added” to your story?
Every thought about those things being the moments that make life really worth living?
Life isn’t measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
